Artist comment: These small works were created for a travelling exhibition (Sydney, Melbourne & Ravenna, Italy) and were required to be in the theme of Native Australian plants.

Rather than create some pretty flowers for the event, I was determined to create something different & to follow my tendency to look at the fine detail of the plants. Thanks to a keen nature loving friend, I was given access to a large file of Western Australian Native plant photos to create the ideas.

What I particularly enjoyed about these projects, was that no power tools were used at all - a rarity for me these days!
