Why did you create the Online Learning Centre?
We don't plan to offer mosaic classes at this time, but do want to share the information we've learned from many mosaic projects. We're also aware that many people can't get to mosaic classes, or want more than beginners information about creating mosaics.
By offering this information online, anyone can access it, and we can update it as frequently as we like.
How do I know what topics are covered?
If you follow the preview links on the main page, they'll take you to all the tutorials offered and give examples of what to expect. Obviously you will need to register to access the information though.
Is the Online Learning Centre suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. You can start with a minimum of knowledge about mosaics, but importantly there's more in depth information available to you once you start to gain some experience.
Why don't you just write a book?
Writing a book was one of the things we considered, but delivering the information online was chosen as we can update it when we have something new to add, we can interact with our readers (via the Bulletin Board), and we intend to embrace new technologies like web video - can't do any of that with a book!
How do I register?
