Setting full moon over Lake Baroon on the Sunshine Coast Queensland

Artist Comment: This piece was pure delight to create. I'm often up & about before dawn and have always marvelled at the full moon setting over the Western sky pre-dawn. This scene was sketched on site around 4 am and then made the following evening under the moonlight. I had lighting available when required, but managed to complete much of the laying under pure moonlight - a wonderful experience and it really came through on the piece, which won a highly commended award at the Caloundra Arts & Crafts show.
