If you enjoyed viewing the pictures of completed mosaics on the public section of our website, you're going to love what's in store in our member galleries.
Basic (free) Members galleries
All the significant works we've completed dating back to 2000. Admittedly, some of the photos are less than brilliant, but you'll be able to follow our progression to the present day continually updated as we complete new works. We hope you'll gain some inspiration for your own work or for commissioning your own mosaic.
It's all included with all memberships including basic (free)
Premium Members galleries (premium members only)
The same projects as in the basic galleries, but on many of the projects we've added some closeup shots and comments on how we gained inspiration and/or difficulties we faced in creating the works. Below we've provided an example of an entry:-
"United Women of the world" mosaic mural1200mm x 1200mm created with ceramic tiles on an aluminium honeycomb base
Artist comment: One of Lesley's mandala designs this piece represents the power of women both individually and collectively. We've changed the title a couple of times between "Goddess" and it's current title, which adds a little insight into the meaning of the work. This was a particularly challenging work to construct as there was a lot of cutout work - where I make a template, trace it onto a tile & cut it out exactly. There was virtually no margin for area with the centre piece as both the shapes and colour fill had to lock together perfectly. There were also almost 150 small hearts to be cut. The graduating size of the shapes in the wings (bottom closeup photo) took a lot of patience and trial & error to get right. A very satisfying piece to complete & the goldene tiles look truly magnificent - unfortunately the photos can't do them justice. |
