mosaic mural set created with ceramic tiles

Artist comment: Owners of these murals are flora & fauna enthusiast so were very easy to work with to find a design.

Birds and flowers are some of my favourite subjects and there’s a lot of them in this mural set. The precut, with all those leaves too, took many long days in the studio but I just love the results.

Particularly difficult with this set was the use of three different coloured grouts – there was some really irregular shapes to tape up and much “mucking around” and adjusting.
