Artist comment:

A lady commissioned these mosaic planters for her daughter and I was asked to include her daughter’s two favourite things – tulips & flamingoes. Pretty challenging initially, but once I got past the images I had of either, the colours worked together pretty well & individually, the subjects were great to mosaic.

Little bit of a trial of patience this work – so many overlapping leaves over such a big area but it really was effective.
