Artist comment: Bit of a secret fan of waves. Love watching mother nature do her work so i was pretty pleased to be given a commission to re-create a wave in mosaic. Some old tiles I’d been saving came out for this work that involved some subtle colour variations along with some strongly contrasting ones too. Working repeatedly with curves was very nice – almost meditative.
