Lettering all precut in preparation for the school mosaic workshops

Well I have to start somewhere!

The eyes and nose are so important in a portrait like this

I can remember how good it felt to start bringing in the blue green colours after weeks on the browns.

Face and hair all done.

All the pieces laid – I just needed to do a trial installation on the floor to ensure all the pieces lined up as they should.

On site installation and the first row of panels is in.

It was a long way up there and we had to contend with a gusty storm and rain, but Laura and I got all panels on the wall in 1 day.

Another full day job grouting the installed mosaic. There were 6 different grout colours used.

Completed, grouted and sealed!
